Project Euler (named after Swiss mathematician Leonhard Euler) is a competition where participants solve mathematical problems using computer code in their language of choice.
These articles describe each problem in detail, including the complete code in the R language to find the solution. Some of the early problems appear trivial, but they provide an excellent introduction to coding in R. My aim is to solve at least the first 100 problems without using any specialised packages. The code can be downloaded through my GitHub repository.
If you are also solving Euler problems, then please connect. My friend key is: 1009266_RbWqFI3r9PF44pD2d66syqRcmEaIqWi3
Spoiler Alert: If you believe that the solutions to Project Euler problems should not be shared then do not read any further.
Euler Problem 13 asks to add one hundred numbers with fifty digits. This seems like a simple problem where it not that most computers are not designed to deal with numbers with a lot of integers. This...Read More
